Launched in March 2025 for child development support and after-school day service facilities, saMOT had been introduced at 18 sites, mainly in Saitama Prefecture, as of June 10, 2025.
About saMOT
saMOT is a cloud-based operations system supporting billing, service records and management at child development support and after-school day service facilities. It brings together work related to claims submitted to Japan’s National Health Insurance Federation, service-user management, staff scheduling, attendance records and monitoring records.

At the time of publication, we introduced features for generating submission data for the National Health Insurance Federation and invoices for service users from service records, as well as managing information across multiple locations. We developed these features based on interviews with facilities using the service.
Development plans at the time of publication
When this article was first published, we shared the following development plans. These were plans at that time and do not indicate current features or release dates.
- December 2025: management dashboard
- March 2026: direct debit and card payment plugin
A message from our representative
“saMOT is focused on making life easier for frontline staff. We believe the 18 facilities using it share our wish to give staff more time to support each service user’s growth, by directing their time toward care rather than administrative work . We will keep developing the product beyond ‘just what I needed’ toward a future that opens people’s eyes to new possibilities.”
